Bassill is the solo project of a multi-instrumentalist musician, composer and producer based in Athens (GR). With a passion for dreamy, introspective sounds, he brings together elements of indie rock, psychedelic pop, and electronic music.
Working tirelessly from the comfort of his home studio, Bassill is the creative force behind every aspect of his music, from composition to production. In his lyrical explorations, he dives into themes of inspiration, commitment and love, weaving heartfelt narratives that resonate with listeners on a deeply personal level.
Inspired by Mac Demarco, Mild High Club, Air and Radiohead, he blends laid-back atmosphere and sentimental melodies resulting in a sound that is both nostalgic and modern.
Apart from his solo work, Bassill, also writes and plays music with Whereswilder, an Athenian rock band who in the last 10 years have released 3 LPs and done 3 European tours.
